Greed is rightly a curse as it results in defeat and shame. His fellows do not want a greedy somebody. This story displays how greed can bring about devastation.
Once three friends lived in a city. They were fast friends. One day they decided to go on a picnic in the countryside. They agreed on their travel and set out earlier in the morning. They went to the riverside and specified their encampment. They finished the whole day enjoying the lovely scenes of nature.
At noon, as they returned to their base, they saw a bag full of Gold. They were pleased to have such a huge prize. They were much excited. They decided to share this Gold equally with them. Now they felt hungry. One of them was sent to the nearby village to bring food. As he was reached, the other two friends decided to kill him and have a better share of the Gold. Their greedy heart would not think of any other option.
The friend who went to the town to bring food was greedy too. He poisoned the food to kill two other friends and to have all the Gold himself.
